Short/speaking bio:

Savanna Ammons writes sweet Christian romances that deal sensitively and biblically with difficult topics. A student at The Author Conservatory, she’s learning writing and marketing from experts like Brett Harris, Katie Phillips, and Joanne Bischof. When she’s not writing, she’s probably working at her local library, playing with her puppy, or pouring her next batch of epoxy resin. If you want to be her friend, prepare to endure dad jokes and puns as soon as she gets comfortable.

Extended bio:

As someone in the process of healing from her own trauma, Savanna Ammons finds it frustrating when a character’s problems and traumas are resolved with an easy answer. She wants heart-filled, Jesus-centered stories where the characters have real problems and need real healing, where they help each other grow and become better versions of themselves…even if they aren’t “fixed” by the end of the story.

(Preferably, without skimping out on the swoony, sweet romances she loves.)

So, she writes them.

Savanna has been a Christian for most of her life and has been writing romance for more than 7 years, though it wasn’t until her time in The Author Conservatory, where she is a third-year student, that she understood story structure or how to execute a solid plot.

Savanna wants her readers to get the sweet romances they want, but most of all she wants to look her readers in the eyes and tell them, “God sees you. God hears you. He doesn’t waste your pain. I know it’s hard right now, and it’s okay to need time and help to heal. Don’t give up on Jesus or on the journey He has you on.”
