Once upon a time, there was a hopeless romantic.
But she got tired of seeing every romance story’s main character’s problems get magically solved when she goes home and runs into her high school sweetheart, who is somehow also Santa Claus and lives in a house made of sugar.
(Okay, that’s a little dramatic. But not that far from the truth.)
The point is, she’s tired of seeing Christian romances where all wounded characters get are a bandaid and a kiss.
She knows they need real help. And yet there’s a part of her that wants a good happily-ever-after.
There’s something special about seeing everything work out, after all.
